Our FIRST meeting of the New Year will be this Thursday Jan. 13th at 7pm. We will discuss future class topics and potential field trips. We will nominate and vote (if needed) our NEW officers.
Dues are the same as last year $25 one member $30 family membership.
FIVE volunteers are needed for club officers. Officers help keep the club running smooth which makes it more fun for everyone. Please help if you can. Here are some duties of the officers/board members:
- plan and arrange teachers/presenters for our 2nd Thursday meetings
- plan and arrange photography outings/field trips
- email reminders to club members, update the blog
- attend club meetings
- make arrangements for photo critique slide show as needed
- collect dues and make bank deposits
- spread the word about the club and encourage new people to come!
We are not planning on our annual photoshow this year. Maybe next year? Or maybe there is a better way for club members to showcase their work? This is something club members and new officers can discuss in the future.

High Desert Photographers is a local photography club for Beginning, Amateur, and Professional Photographers in and around Idaho Falls, Idaho.
The club is dedicated to all aspects of photography and art and features guest speakers, instruction on photographic techniques, and training on the latest software including Photoshop.
