Our next meeting will be at Rocky Mountain Middle School, February 28th at 7:00 p.m. Please note the time change from 7:30 to 7:00. The meeting will be a Photo Critique - subject is Winter Landscapes and Wildlife. Each member may submit 3 photos. Please email your entries to Steve Ridges at the_ridges@hotmail.com.
Be sure to sign up for the club mailing list by sending an email to news@highdesertphotographers.org with the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line. You will receive an acknowledgement email back within an hour if the registration was successful.
The club now has an "Official" Group on Flickr. This will be a great place to post images, have discussions, and contests. The address is http://www.flickr.com/groups/highdesertphotographers. You must join Flickr (the free account will do) and then request membership in the group to post images.

High Desert Photographers is a local photography club for Beginning, Amateur, and Professional Photographers in and around Idaho Falls, Idaho.
The club is dedicated to all aspects of photography and art and features guest speakers, instruction on photographic techniques, and training on the latest software including Photoshop. There are monthly photo critique sessions where members can show their work and opportunities to display and sell their work at various shows and fairs.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at Perfect Light Camera & Supply located in the Teton Plaza Mall. (intersection of 17th & Channing) 2169 E 17th St. in Idaho Falls.
